When I first quit the 9-5 corporate working style to work for myself full time as a creative, I was knew where I wanted to go. I wanted to work with small businesses and entrepreneurs; the family down the street who have been doing their craft for 30+ years, the couple who started a retail store to make themselves happy, the person who loves to make but hates to market their work. In 2017, a young Em got a job during university, as a digital designer for a family business in Guelph, Ontario called Harmony. This business operated with a fair-trade philosophy, used small batch production, eco-friendly ink for custom apparel, and created custom, sentimental, engraved jewelry!
